"As a visitor to Perth who likes to see live theatre, this was a terrific show in a great venue. The versatility and impact of the acting and its closeness was most appreciated."
Zen's Red Mouth audience member, July 2007

"Loved the show, I always enjoy the performances at The Blue Room. Artsy atmosphere, but not pretentious, cutting edge performances. Never boring"

Mary Shelley’s exploration of humanity in the mutual destruction of creator and creation is unrelenting, violent, and at times heartbreakingly beautiful.

Moving away from the groaning green monster of shock horror cinema, Renegade Productions’ Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus seeks the unyielding tension and moral crisis that is the cornerstone of Shelley’s novel.

In this tale of rejection, dissolution and redemption, Renegade Productions combines its signature fusion of theatre, design and performance art, with soundscapes, film and installation to completely transform the theatre.

Beginning in a fractured world of ice and snow, this all-enveloping experience compels actors and audience alike to question their notions of companionship, love, and what it means to be human.

“It’s heartening to see a small local outfit produce theatre of this quality.” -The West Australian, 2008
